A vital tool for microfluidic fabrication process
Microfabrication process need to use solvent, first of all because the photoresist itself contain some solvent then the developper is also a solvent and finally for cleaning purpose acetone and isopropanol is commonly used. All these chemicals products are harmful and release gaz at room temperature and pressure. Some security equipment have to be think to protect the users. The fume hood is clearly made for, we present two different size to fit as close as possible at all customers activities.
A good efficiency, easy to handle
These extractor systems are made to be install everywhere, they are easy to use fume hoods with a good efficiency. They perfectly fit with the application of softlithography outside clean room because don’t need any heavy construction and can be movable.
We have selected two main size for the portable fume hoods. One small used for a local application, over a hot plate or over a glassware. The second size is bigger to implement under, different equipment and gathered spin coater, hot plate and chemical glassware. Both solution are considered as fume hood, coupled to a activated carbon filter, they protect the user against the solvent vapors but not the substrate from dust.
EXTRACTOR8
The Extractor8 is a portable fume hood in glass with suction group on the top with a size of 800*700*700 mm (w*d*h). An openable front glass is added to better protect the user and the components during the process. The Extractor8 can be put every where, only a plug is needed to supply the filter. An active carbon blend filter enables to clear the air inside the chamber before to rejecting it in the room.

EXTRACTOR3.5
The Extractor3.5 is a portable cap little fume hood with suction group. The cap enables to fully protect the user. The Extractor3.5 size is really minimized, 350*500*470 mm (w*d*h). and so is really light and easy to handle and can be install everywhere because only a plug is needed to supply the filter. An active carbon blend filter is install to clear the aspirated air.
A device adapted for Soft-lithography applications
- Can be add quite everywhere to do little chemical operation.
- Particularly well adapted for volatile product, it can be used to put out of the fume hood some tricky steps such as the photoresist baking and so take away all heating source from chemicals under the fume hood.
